Beaded Wedding Dress Alterations
The bride explained what I did perfectly :) "The dress was made by Needles & Thread (Lace Petal was the actual name). Most of their dresses feature heavy beading, which is beautiful, and added complexity to Juliya's task. I purchased it from Saks and it was quite literally 2 sizes too small (unfortunately, it was the only size left - ANYWHERE. Tried finding another size or even just an extra one to use for additional fabric as well with no luck.) Ultimately, she was able to add a band of opaque mesh fabric on both sides of the dress, adding an extra 3-4 inches to the bust area. Without it, there was absolutely no way I could zip it up just past my waist. Luckily, I'm short, so she only needed to hem about an inch off the bottom. Overall, navigating the beadwork without destroying the integrity of the dress and it's aesthetic required a bit of clever thinking on Juliya's part." Thank you, Samantha, for the opportunity to work on this beautiful dress!

Custom Made Wedding Gown
All made from scratch! This Georgette and lace gown was made with nothing but love for a dear friend's daughter. Small details like Swarovki crystals were hand sewn to detail the neckline. I love the flow of the skirt and the fit of the lace portion.
Wedding Dress Reconstruction & Bridesmaid Dress Alterations
This was a major project but the outcome was beautiful! The size of the dress was a 12 and the bride was 2/4. I reworked the whole corset and the lace overlay straps were removed. The remaining fabric was added back into the corset to make it a strapless beaded dress.
The bridesmaids' dresses were taken in and shortened.

Mother of the Bride Dress
The dress originally had a train and that was removed to use the remaining fabric as an appliqué which was used to fill the deep V neckline of the dress. Also, I tapered in the mermaid skirt for a more flattering look.
